Submit certain Medicaid prior auth requests online

Effective Nov. 12, 2025, prior authorization requests for the first 72 hours of these inpatient treatments for Commercial and Medicaid plan members should be submitted through the Provider Express secure portal:

• Inpatient mental health
• Community-Based Acute Treatment (CBAT)
• Intensive Community-Based Acute Treatment (ICBAT)

How to submit a prior authorization request

• Log in to the Provider Express secure portal using your One Healthcare ID and password. If you don’t have an ID, you can create one on the login page
• From the Auths drop-down menu, select Review Online
• You will have the option to select Request a New Authorization or View my Census. Choose Request a New Authorization. View my Census allows you to view active authorization requests with status
• Search for the member using either Member ID or Member Name and Date of Birth. Select the member and then continue to enter your request details
