Optum Partner Services, or OPS, is a name providers will hear frequently. It’s not a legal entity and does not employ providers — rather, it’s the name given to a suite of services provided to participating employers through a Management Services Agreement with Optum. These services include Human Capital, Payroll, Compliance and more. OPS utilizes UnitedHealth Group systems and infrastructure to provide these services to providers and is designed to comply with state-specific Corporate Practice of Medicine regulations.
